South Bali Part. One (How to get to Bali)

HOW TO GET TO BALI??

Most international visitors will fly to Bali directly.

Numerous direct flights from Europe, America, Australia and most Asian Countries.
Domestic flights to and from major cities within Indonesia.

SOUTH BALI

I. Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida, located in Klungkung regency, is an island located on the southeast side of Bali, which is separated by Badung Strait. Near the island there are also other small islands are Pulau Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan Island. The island of Nusa Penida waters of the region is famous for such diving contained in Penida Bay, Manta Point, Batu Meling, Batu Lumbung, Batu Abah, Toyopakeh, and Malibu Point.

Nusa Penida Island is accessible by using speed boat from Sanur, Kusamba, and Padang Bay with 30 minutes travel time. Nusa Penida is a dry region with calcareous soil texture. Most residents work as farmers seaweed, fishermen and laborers, and others as a trader.

The main attraction area of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan is an unspoiled coral reefs and diverse fish. To achieve and enjoy the area of Nusa Penida, can also be reached by boat at an affordable price.

II. Bali Zoo Park

Bali Zoo Park is a small zoo in Sukawati area. Approximately 25 minutes drive from Denpasar travel. The location is good, the scenery is quite beautiful. Before there was Bali safari and Marine Park, this place is pretty crowded. Now it does look a bit lonely.


Regardless of whether or not crowded, the atmosphere here is good enough obligatory visit if you go to Gianyar.

III. Bali Bird Park

Located in Singapadu, Gianyar, Bali Bird Park, is one of the favorite tourist attractions, especially for families and children. It lies about 20km from Denpasar Singapadu. from Kuta, you can visit these locations with a drive motor vehicles within one hour. Area Bali Bird Park is famous for the collection of rare birds and is an icon of Bali, White starlings.

First opened in October 1995, this bird park and then continue to be developed and added collection. Now no less than 1000 birds of 250 species of birds found in the Bali Bird Park. You not only enjoy the charm of the birds in the cage, since there are also breeding birds from egg to hatch, when the birds were fed, and even took a picture together with a number of exotic birds at the site. This bird park is also equipped with restaurants, cafes, and shops selling various souvenirs related to birds.

IV. Sukawati Art Market


Sukawati Art Market is located in the Gianyar district not far from Ubud, one hour travel time from Kuta or 1.5 hours from Bali's airport with a journey overland. If we use the road from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, we can see the beautiful ocean view.


Art market is a typical Balinese souvenir sales center, if not satisfied with the price being negotiated, do not be afraid to leave the seller. As long as prices are still generate profits for the seller, you definitely will be called back. The best-selling items are usually sandals, clothing, and goods Balinese art.


If you like shopping, preferably in the morning. because at the morning around 08:00 to 10:00, the seller had just finished prayers. V. Kintamani


Located in the district of Kintamani Bangli, is one of the favorite choice of tourist attractions, both domestic and abroad.



Generally, in almost any travel agent or tour operator in Bali, Kintamani included in the itinerary after visiting Batu Bulan to see Barong Dance performances. after visiting Ubud or after shopping at Sukawati art market.

Kintamani offers a fresh atmosphere of the hills with temperatures around 18 degrees Celsius, much like air in Bedugul. The main attraction of the area is the scenery of Mount Kintamani and Lake Batur. Mount Batur is a volcano is still active and is the second highest mountain in Bali After Mount Agung at Besakih. The atmosphere is best when enjoyed lunch dishes while enjoying the beauty of this mountain lake and the volcanic smoke belching.

VI. Uluwatu Dreamland Beach

Dreamland Beach is the most beautiful after the Kuta beach. The beach is located in the region Pecatu, near Uluwatu. This beach is so beautiful and not as crowded as Kuta beach. Of course with this situation you would be more comfortable and can enjoy the atmosphere of the beach that is famous as a place to surf. With travel approximately 30 minutes using a personal vehicle, the direction of Jimbaran and Kuta Pecatu.

Dreamland beach area currently being developed as a tourist area of Bali Pecatu Resort complete with 18 hole golf course, international school, international hospitals, malls, and other tourist facilities. VII. Kuta Bali

Kuta Beach also known as sunset beach is one of the attractions of Bali are the most popular by domestic and foreign guests were no exception as well as by Bali own community. Every Saturday and Sunday or a long vacation, this beach is definitely always crowded with local visitors, domestic and foreign.


Kuta is located in the southern part of Bali island, is one of the forerunner to the development of tourism in Bali. This place was once a fishing village development of tourism in Bali and Indonesia and Bali in particular. Now the Kuta has developed into an icon of tourism in Bali or better known as the International City because it is a meeting place for tourists from all over the world and also local tourists. Beaches with white sand ni chosen as the place to surf. Viewed in terms of facilities, Kuta has a very complete facilities. Inns or hotels, restaurants, spas and other tourism supporting a lot of it is here.

Kuta Beach is a tourist attraction that has been chosen to spend the holidays over in Kuta. So it seems if you are not yet valid to Bali without a vacation in the beach of Kuta. You do not have to pay entrance to Kuta beach or free. But just need to provide vehicle parking money only.
